The message of Jesus was "Rise up and walk". Rise up into a higher consciousness of truth. Walk as one with God. One need not confine themselves to a lowly life, chained to laws of lack, illness, old age. Paul basically said the same thing to the Romans when he stated, "For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death."

The message of Jesus was that man has no power of his own. Even in the face of Pontious Pilate, it was evident "Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above."  So where does man get this idea of control?  Answer: Perpetual education of enslavement. The belief that one person can be over another - that we are not all created equal.

Man has entombed himself in darkness. People tried to entomb Jesus, but as a spiritual light, he transcended that tomb. Can one keep light from a darkened container when even a tiny crack pours forth brightness? A match lit in a darkened room will put some degree of light into it. The light Jesus manifested was Spiritual light. No degree of vault could restrain it.

How much light does one carry today when the news media tries to entomb us into the shadow of fear?  Does our own light transcend that false message that we must live under the law of sin and death? Rise up.

To raise one's consciousness to become one with Christ requires an awakening to Truth - Truth that we are already one with Christ, already one with the Spirit of God, already one with God. God is being all Life, God is being us. Not separate and apart from. Rise up.

Jesus took his disciples to the Garden of Gethsemane where some fell asleep while Jesus prayed. Is man today also asleep, unconscious to the Truth?  

How does one awaken to Truth when one is constantly being shoved into a tomb of fear?  That's what it is when one acknowledges and accepts any suggestion of being apart from God. There is no other power. God is Omnipotent.

Meditate of the nature of God. Meditate on the words of the great Master, Jesus. Meditate on the message of Buddha, Mohammed, or any great Master of Truth. Meditate on anything that is NOT of this world.  See beyond the appearances of the material law and material concepts.

Most people think they don't have time to meditate. It doesn't take time. One can meditate while driving the car or taking a shower or laying in bed. Meditation takes one above the drudgery or stress of human living. In meditation comes spiritual understanding - and then the peace that passes even that.   Afterwards, how can one be concerned about anything in this human life? The human life falls into accord with spiritual truth and all is well. Into one's human existence comes harmony. No thought takes over and meditation becomes a way, not an end. In peace there is no concern of earthly matters because earthly things matter no more - they have dissipated into nothing.

As churches hung out robes on their crosses, and held Easter egg hunts for the children, mankind continued to see only the appearance. To the majority of people, Jesus died on the cross as a great sacrifice for us and rose again to prove Eternal life. It is much more than that.  It was an example "If I go not away, the Comforter will not come". Would we not still be looking to a man and not the Christ?

Only those of a higher consciousness saw the Master after his crucifixion. The rest were still buried in material law - buried in their own grave of ignorance - in  darkness.

Christ is risen.  Are we?

All is well.
