Our human thinking sees many illusions and our consciousness plays this throughout our life like a movie we wrote, directed and produced. Being blind to the spiritual reality of our existence is the product of literally believing our "teachers" and giving our "movie" the realistic effects we believe to be the reality they have "humanly" taught us.

Human reality, like the screen the movie is projected on, is a thin sheet of reflective material giving the illusion of being a real event. We could not really enjoy the movie if we constantly thought about the screen, realizing the reflection is just an illusion. But, in understanding the movie for what it really is, we can temporarily put reality aside and pretend the movie is real. Afterwards, we draw conclusions about the movie, not the belief that it was a real event. Then we have a greater appreciation of what went into the movie (The producer, writers, actors, actresses, and everything else that went into its making). We think, "How wonderful it is that this illusion could be made.  I learned and felt something from it that adds to my real life."  It became one of your teachers.

So it is with our spiritual and human existence. Most see, through their spirituality, the human plane of existence unknowingly believing it is the only reality. The true reality is that the human plane of existence is the movie screen and what we are seeing and believing to be real is what we really want and need to experience for the learning and education of our true spiritual nature. Awareness of these true and imagined existances is the "spiritual awakening", "spiritual re-birth", "spiritual enlightenment", and "the Christ within us"
